No one really knows how National Coffee Day started, probably a coffee addicts way of getting a freebie!  But I don’t care why it’s a free coffee day, I’m just happy that it is!!

List of free coffee and deals for National Coffee Day 2017.  Most of these places participate every year so you should be pretty safe going to these businesses my disclaimer is always double-check.

Dunkin’ Donuts: Buy a medium or larger cup of hot coffee and get a medium hot coffee free at participating locations nationwide. No Coupon Necessary.

Wawa: No coupon is needed to get a free cup of coffee — any size —  on Friday.  Pick your size, pick your brew and you can even come back for a refill if you want.  Also, get a coupon for a free cup when you join Wawa Rewards or by doing a quick survey on Wawa receipts.

Krispy Kreme: Wake up and smell the free coffee all weekend long. Get a free any-size hot coffee or small iced coffee. 9/29 – 10/1

McDonald’s: For a limited time, get a small specialty coffee for $2 at participating locations. Also, there are coupons for a free medium McCafé with any purchase in the McDonald’s smartphone app. Plus, when you purchase any five McCafé drinks you can get one free when a QR code from the app is scanned at checkout.

7-Eleven: 7-Eleven is also extending coffee deals all into the weekend, but there’s a small catch. From Sept. 29 to Oct. 1, 7Rewards members can receive one free coffee per day.

Cinnabon: According to a tweet from the company’s official Twitter account, Cinnabon will be giving out free 12 oz. coffees all day on Friday.

Fun Fact —
Today, over 400 billion cups of coffee are consumed each year. It is a world commodity that is second only to oil.  Now, I have no idea if this is true, but I would believe it!!
