Couponing Video
This is a video showing the way I organize my coupons and easily prepare to head to the grocery store. For some reason, I couldn’t count too well in the video – see if you hear my crazy counting! I get 5 Sunday newspapers each week and that allows me to have enough coupons for my family to purchase extra items while they are at a rock bottom price (a stock-up price).
If you would like additional Sunday Newspapers, check out the newspaper discounts offered. Some are only a few cents a week!
The question below was posted on the Youtube Video:
Readers Question: How are you able to keep your coupons for 6 months when they expire a month after you get them?
Great question! The only coupon insert that fully expires in one month is the P&G insert. And you will still want to double check, because on occasion there will be a coupon that has a longer expiration. All other coupon inserts have varying expiration dates on the coupons inside. An easy way to know exactly when to toss the insert: Flip through it, find the furthest out expiration date and write in on the front cover. Then when that date arrives, you know all coupons inside are expired and it’s time to purge.

Jen, love your video lessons. I learn so much! Where are you getting free dishwasher detergent today. I have a lot of these coupons!
Hi Susan, I haven’t found free dish detergent for quite some time. That is why I stock up so much! The deals come and go! If there is a good deal on dishwasher detergent I will certainly let you know! When it does come around to take the most advantage, be sure to have 5 newspapers coming to your door so you can stock-up!! That is the #1 KEY!! I promise.

The video showing you organizing your coupons where you were not counting too well, is not working, it comes out a Blank Page
thanks Sharon
Hi Sharon – Thanks for letting me know the video was down. I received this note just before they closed the doors on the plane and I had to shut off my computer, so I couldn’t respond until now. I did check the video – it’s now there, but I think Youtube was down for a few minutes and that is why you couldn’t see the video. Let me now if you still having trouble.

I really enjoy your videos. I find them very helpful. I noticed in your video that you stapled the coupons together when you cut them. Do you take the stapes out or take them to the store that way? This is a great idea for keeping them organized but can you give them to the cashier that way?
Thanks.
Hi Leah — I usually keep the coupons stapled together until I give them to the cashier. At that time I tear off the staple.
How I staple them: I cut on edge wide enough to have a place to staple, and then tear that stapled spot off without affecting the coupon. It is super easy to keep the coupons from flying all around in my envelopes or shopping cart.
