When I have tomatoes that are getting too soft to add to salads or eat fresh, I chop them and freeze. When I am making soups, chili, spaghetti or any type of tomato based meal, I put the frozen tomatoes into it for a fresh base!

Went to the farmer’s market last week and the tomatoes ripened too quick for me to eat them all. Waste not want not. Thanks for the tip!
