DIY Bisquick Mix
Homemade Bisquick costs me pennies to make. I watch for sales on butter or shortening, whichever I find on sale is what recipe I make. My challenge to you is make homemade quick and convenient items — save yourself time AND money!!
I have 2 different versions, depending on what ingredients I have found on sale. Use the homemade Bisquick like you would store bought.
Store your Homemade Bisquick recipes in the freezer to preserve them longer.

Do you think you would need to make any variations to recipe, besides changing flour to make gluten free version?
Hmmm, I haven’t made a gluten free version. However, I searched for one and found this — http://www.food.com/recipe/gluten-free-bisquick-mix-45611
