Coffee Filter Uses

Some pretty amazing uses for coffee filters you may have never considered.  These awesome lint-free, tear-resistant holders are fabulous!

1. Cover bowls or dishes when cooking in the microwave
2. Clean windows and mirrors; they’re lint-free so they’ll leave windows sparkling
3. Protect China; separate your good dishes by putting a coffee filter between them
4. Put a few in a plate to soak up grease from fried bacon, french fries, chicken fingers, etc.
5. Filter broken cork from wine
6. Protect a cast-iron skillet; place a coffee filter in the skillet to absorb moisture and prevent rust
7. Ball it up and use to apply shoe polish
8. After frying, strain through a sieve lined with coffee filter to recycle frying oil
9. Place chopped ingredients in a coffee filter on a kitchen scale to weigh chopped foods
10. Hold tacos; coffee filters make convenient wrappers for messy foods
11. Line a plant pot with a coffee filter to prevent the soil from going through the drainage holes
12. Prevent a Popsicle from dripping by poking one or two holes as needed in a coffee filter
