Value of the Target Red Card
Hi, It’s Shannon and I want to share a GREAT deal at Target with you. Every time I’m in Target the cashier always asks me, “Do you want to save 5% today with the Target RED card?” and my answer is always “no”. Because I don’t want a credit card because I’ve worked REALLY hard paying all of ours off (by couponing!!) and certainly don’t want to go down that road again.
Well unbeknownst to me, Target offers a RED debit card! The charges come right out of your checking account. Now since I’m shopping in Target quite a bit and am using my debit card anyway, why not save 5% (you’ll save 5% on almost everything except prescriptions and gift card purchases). They also offer a RED credit card which is why I was confused in the first place. I didn’t know they offered both.
So, next time you’re in Target, head over to customer service and sign up for the RED debit card. All you need is a check, which they will void out, and you’re all set up! Another way to easily save while shopping Target!
